Our Story

Bright Future Aviation Academy (BFAA) emerged as an evolution of the Aviation College of The Americas (ACOA), a Jamaican tertiary institution which offers a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) in Aviation Theoretics among other aviation industry related programs. Recognizing the students’ natural progression towards flight training post-graduation, BFAA was established with a mission to provide an seamless option for graduates to continue their career journey. Recognizing that the global pilot shortage is projected to continue to increase over the next 20 years, the industry requires an annual average intake of 4.4% of the current global pilot population to 2032. BFAA alleviates the apprehension students associate with becoming an aviator due to hidden fees and unforeseen costs.

Drawing from the experiences of the ACOA alumni, who are advanced in their achievement of their career goals, we learned from challenges faced in their quest for flight training, BFAA envisioned a transparent and reliable flight training institution. We are dedicated to providing our students with high-caliber education at reasonable prices, pursuing cost-cutting measures while maintaining the quality of training and safety. This commitment ensures that we prepare world-class pilots, upholding the highest standards of excellence in the aviation industry.
